In a nutshell..... Emma, currently logistics manager extra-ordinaire along with wearing many other hats, has been delightedly working with SK for close to 2 years. She hails from Oregon and Colorado, Waldorf education, exchange in Paris, living in Switzerland, viola playing, starting as a class activist/leader in 7th grade, which landed her eventually at Clark University studying International Development and Social Change with an emphasis on Environmental Sustainability. She co-founded the Clark Sustainability Initiative as a freshman, which grew over the years and became institutionalized with an official task force and counted many victories. She was a student leader in various other ways including being the undergraduate representative to the Board of Trustees, among other formal and informal task forces, conducting student tours of campus, and continuing on as her highschool class representative. As a freshman she also participated in her first of four years at the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development at the headquarters in New York where she represented the youth of the world along with 20 other youth from numerous countries. In 2007 she spoke at the Asia Pacific Round table on Sustainable Consumption and Production on the topic of "Tools for Implementing Agenda 21 Chapter 25: Case studies and models for Asian youth participation in sustainable development" where she explained how to involve youth in decision-making processes in an appropriate way Snaps of moments....
